Autumn in the Lake District

Nature and its magic tricks always surprise me! Autumn has finally arrived and I'm happy to be a witness of it. The last week in Keswick (the heart of the national park Lake District and the place where I live these days) has been just wonderful and we've been able to observe how the scenery and nature around us changes literally every day. Not a single drop of rain during the last week - only sun was shining although it's been not so warm anymore, as if saying the tricky weather is coming. Trees have finally changed their colours and their leaves have been flying all around since then. Now the time of picking chestnuts from the ground, carving pumpkins, wearing comfy sweaters and snuggling up with a mug of tea or hot chocolate (topped with loads of cream) has begun.

Enjoy this year's autumn and make the most of it! M.
